Celia Ramirez

The Owner and Director of Early Milestones Children’s Center is Celia Ramirez. Celia Ramirez founded Early Milestones Children’s Center in the San Bernardino neighborhood of California with a heartfelt passion to meet the needs of our growing community.

Celia was born in Los Angeles, California, and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College in 2009. Since 1999, she has dedicated her career to serving children and families in a variety of roles including Case Management, Parent Specialist, Early Interventionist, and Teacher. Her work has always been driven by a deep commitment to advocating for families and strengthening the community.

With extensive experience caring for both sick and well children-from infants to teenagers- Celia brings a well-rounded perspective to her leadership. Her background in the social services field, combined with her education, hands-on experience, and personal journey as a parent, has shaped her approach to early childhood education.

Celia is the proud mother of three children, ages 22, 14, and 9, and has spent many years living out the joys and challenges of parenthood. She understands the profound impact that high-quality early childhood education has on a child’s future success-both in school and in life.

She is excited to offer a highly individualized, play-based program at Early Milestones Children’s Center and looks forward to making a lasting, positive impact on the children and families we serve.

About Early Milestones Children’s Center

Early Milestones Children’s Center is a nurturing early learning community in San Bernardino, California, serving children from 6 months through 5 years of age.

We believe children learn best when they feel safe, respected, connected, and free to explore. Our goal is to create an environment where children can develop meaningful relationships, discover their interests, strengthen important developmental skills, and build confidence in who they are.

Our approach recognizes that every child develops at an individual pace. Teachers provide developmentally appropriate experiences that support the whole child – socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively, and linguistically – while partnering with families throughout their child’s early learning journey.

To provide children with a safe, nurturing, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate early learning environment that supports each child’s growth, strengthens families, and builds a foundation for lifelong learning.

Our Philosophy

We believe early childhood education should honor the whole child. Learning happens through relationships, play, exploration, routines, conversation, movement, creativity, and meaningful experiences. Our teachers meet children where they are and help them confidently move toward their next milestone.
